Why do we collect data?
Personal data is collected by Cabletidy for a number of purposes. These are explained below.
Sending newsletters
Cabletidy sends newsletters by e-mail. These newsletters are commercial on the one hand and aimed at knowledge sharing on the other. Your first name and e-mail address are collected via the appropriate form on the Cabletidy website. You may also be asked verbally or textually to register.
Contact
Your data will be collected when you contact Cabletidy via the website. However, this form only asks for the necessary information to be able to offer a proposal or a service, such as your name, company name, e-mail address, telephone number and project description.
Analytics
The Cabletidy website collects your data to improve the website. This is done with Google Analytics. These data are anonymous and are therefore not linked to your personal data. This includes information such as the duration of your website visit or the pages you visit a lot.All data will only be processed with your explicit consent or to implement the agreements that are entered into, or because processing is necessary to bring you into contact with potential relations and / or contractors.
Data Processors
The data that Cabletidy receives and processes is managed by:
One.com: The website and website backups are hosted at One.com. Information that you leave behind on the Cabletidy website is stored on One.com’s servers.
Jouw Marketeers BV: Jouw Marketeers builds and maintains the Cabletidy website and therefore has access to your data, but will not store it or pass it on to third parties.
Mailchimp: Our newsletters are sent with Mailchimp. When you sign up for the newsletter, your e-mail address and first name will be automatically saved in the appropriate list within Mailchimp.
Storage period
Your data will be stored by Cabletidy for a longer period of time, but never longer than is necessary for the performance of activities, unless we have to keep your data longer due to a statutory regulation.
Contact
The moment you contact Cabletidy by e-mail, the data you send, such as your name, company name, and e-mail address, will be stored on the mail server. Those emails are kept for up to two years.
Analytics
The data that Analytics collects on the website is anonymous, so not linked to your name, company or e-mail address. This data is stored indefinitely within Google Analytics.
Sending newsletters
Your email address and first name are stored in Mailchimp. The storage of your data is for an indefinite period. You can unsubscribe whenever you want via the link at the bottom of the newsletters or by sending an email to privacy@cabletidy.eu
Security
No physical copies are made of your personal data. Your data is only managed in the aforementioned systems and software.The personal data managed by Cabletidy or by the aforementioned third parties are only accessible via the above software and are protected with a password and where possible with two-step verification.
With this two-step verification, a code is generated from the software and sent to Cabletidy. This code must be used during the login process.
The devices that open your data are each also locked with a password and / or fingerprint. The number of devices that can access your data is limited to only the necessary devices.
In addition, your visit to our website is secured by an SSL certificate. This means that your connection to Cabletidy’s website is private. You can recognize this security by the lock in front of the URL.
Your Rights
Right of access
You have the right to request your data at all times that are recorded and stored at Cabletidy. You do this by sending an e-mail or contacting Cabletidy by telephone. You will then receive an overview of your data.
Right to rectification
Are your details incorrect? Or have your data changed? You have the right to have this rectified by Cabletidy. You can adjust your data regarding the newsletter via the appropriate url at the bottom of each e-mail.
Right to transfer
If you need the data that is stored at Cabletidy in case you switch to another party or service, you have the right to transfer. Cabletidy must transfer all your data to the other party.
Right to erasure of data
Do you no longer want your data to be stored at Cabletidy? Then you have the right to have your data deleted.
Right to file a complaint
You have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you believe that Cabletidy is not handling your data correctly. This can be done via this link.
Right to stop data use (objection)
Do you not want Cabletidy to use your data? Then you have the right to stop the use of your personal data.
You can make use of these rights via privacy@cabletidy.eu and send a copy of your ID certificate, whereby the passport photo, the numbers at the bottom of the passport, ID number and BSN have been made illegible. We aim to respond within two weeks.
Duties
Cabletidy processes personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest, namely a commercial interest. This includes offering services or products from Cabletidy via e-mail. Your data will never be sold to third parties.The information that is required to provide is the minimum information required to offer the services or products. For example, your e-mail address is required to be able to send the newsletter. If this mandatory information is not provided, Cabletidy cannot offer the relevant service.
If it is necessary to share data that you have shared with Cabletidy with others than the parties mentioned above (for example, to offer a service), your permission will first be requested.
